This evening I had the opportunity to plant the Russett potatoes chitting away on my kitchen counter. Planted half in the native soil and half in the raised bed. May the best soil win! With any luck in 3-4 months, it will be potato-palooza in the garden.

Also, I found a great use for my notebook computer as well. I brought the notebook out into the yard, and as I worked on the soil, I watched a video of how to plant potatoes. How geek is that! No more running into the den to watch a video, I can now bring it right to the garden bed.

Found dog footprints across my 4X4 bed…Buster was looking mighty guilty tonight. No treats for you!
