Into every garden, failure must rear its ugly head. My perfect little garden is no exception and this year I was disappointed by the utter failure of store bought Alysum (AKA Snow Carpet) seeds. I picked up a box of seeds for a dollar at a local grocery store and had visions of Snow Carpet bordering my raised beds scenting the air with a sweet aroma. **SIGH** Reality has a way of shattering such visions. I followed the directions to grow these beauties and not one seedling ever graced my garden. I even attempted to grow the seeds using a peat pellet and wound up growing mold.
Next year, I’ll spare myself the agony of defeat and grab seedlings from Feeney’s.
